The eligibility criteria for PMAY-G are as follows:
The applicant must be a resident of a rural area as per the latest Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) data.
The applicant must not own a pucca house or have received assistance under any other housing scheme from the central or state government.
The applicant must belong to one of the following categories: Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Below Poverty Line (BPL), landless, households headed by women, minorities, or persons with disabilities.
