Wes this being that the guest saw is very reminiscent of the Sykesville monster that was discovered along the river by the fisherman. Sounds like there is a hidden enclave of these being in the Northeast of the USA. Sykesville Maryland is not far from where the being was sited in Pennsylvania. You covered the Sykesville monster early on in about episode 29 or near that. Makes a person wonder where these thing are living in that area. Great show and even the paranormal discussion was fascinating.

It's also the first episode written by Nancy Cartwright, voice actor of Bart Simpson among others, making her the third of six main cast members to have an episode to their name. Many scripts since season 11 having been co-written by Dan Castellaneta, who voices Homer Simpson among others, and Harry Shearer, voice of many main supporting characters, writing the season 28 episode "Trust But Clarify". This also makes Cartwright the first female main cast member with a writing credit for the show.
